    Thumbs up 5/5 Report!

Got on the water at daylight today. After a poor outing my last try (1 crappie, boat motor problems) I started looking for fish early. To my surprise there were already bass fishermen beating the banks at the first two places I went to. Anyway, after not marking much I headed to spot #3. Seen a little so trolling motor went down and lines in the water. Picked up one here, one there. It was slow. Kept moving and then decided to go try spot #4.

GAME ON! At times it got pretty hectic! Multiple lines down....LOTS of tangles.

Started saving some 10" fish in the little live well but was soon into some quality fish.

After reaching the limit I began culling those smaller fish for bigger fish and finally finished the morning with a nice box of fish. Started putting lines in the water at 6:30AM and finished the morning at 11:30AM. Had a total of 3 catfish and a couple white perch. Also caught a total of 90 crappie keeping a Ga limit (30). The 30 fish that came home weighed 32 lbs. For me....that aint too shabby.

It was a GREAT morning to fish. Not too many boats for a Saturday morning (Yea, right!) . A nice 60* start and overcast skies for the most part. The temps never got hot and the winds never got strong. It was ideal for longlining. Mostly stayed in water anywhere from 10' to 18' deep pulling jigs about 6' down.

Last but not least...here's the box shot of the fish that came home. Gonna take tomorrow off but will be after 'em again on Monday morning if it's meant to be. Then.....back to work again.

"Not to shabby"? That's great! I like the double counters, one for fish caught and one for fish kept. Nice!

I use one counter for crappie that are throwed back in and another for crappie in the livewell. I don't count the trash fish.
