    Default Wylie 4/13 & 4/14

Went out Friday afternoon trying to find a few crappie and to try out this night fishing thing. Had a decent late evening bite. Ended with 5 crappie in 15-18 FOW tightlining over structure. Got into perch really thick in the shallows around docks and blowdowns (6-8 FOW) The only fish caught under the lights was about a 2 lb bass.

Saturday morning got out early and struck out north of the Buster Boyd bridge. Cats were the target species. Picked up four early on. 2 blues and 2 channels. Biggest was a 15 lb female full of eggs. She was sent back. Kept two for the grill. Both were around 3 lbs. Good weekend to be out on the water!!!
