Nice catch Butch and love that cooler shot.
Of all things...I OVERSLEPT today!Knowing where theyre at I was planning on getting on them at first light but needless to say that didn't happen.
Anyways....made it on the water and was getting lines in the water by 8AM. The fish was already hitting jigs before I got more than 4 rods out. I musta trolled a hundred yards before I was able to even get 8 lines out. Talking about a busy morning....
Like yesterday...it was FAST AND FURIOUS for the most part. A little bit of time I trolled I was out of the "boundaries" I guess you can say of where the fish wanted to be so some time lost there. And...with all the "clusters" I had it also gave me time for ALOT of retying. HA!
Today I caught over 100 keeping 28 crappies (miscounted I guess....meant to had a 30-fish limit). It was a lot of fun and felt like a little justice scratching that itch I have had for over a month now. At Noon I called it a day as the wind had picked up some but even at that the fish was still biting. 5 days of work begins again tomorrow but I'm already looking forwards to next Thursday. I just hope the weather is "fishable. Here's the cooler shot...
