Any place. I usually take a very small hook and some worms or crickets to catch small bream. The good thing about worms if you don’t use a lot you can use them catfishing. We take the leftover worms in the summer and put them on a jig head on the bottom and catch a ton of cats, perch, white bass, etc. It’s fun while you are waiting on the big cats to bite.

Thank you I will use a small jig and put worms on it to catch some fish while I am waiting for the bigger catfish to bite on the other rods. I am looking towards to my vacation in South Carolina and will make a report once I am back home in Florida.

There is also a fish attractor right by the beaver creek bridge of lake wateree also and have caught cats near it trolling for crappie, i have seen people fishing there as well as the most popular place fishing off the dutchman creek bridge of wateree, but will be tough getting a big catfish up the bridge, would need to walk it to a side.

Thank you for posting this. I will consider going to the Dutchman creek bridge or Beaver Creek Bridge. Please send me a PM with your email so I can give you my email. Let me know when you plan on going to South Florida and I will help you.

Thank you to everyone that offered me help! My fishing trip to South Carolina was very successful. I caught at least 10 species of fish, including a 33.5 inch, +20 pound blue catfish from land.
