    Default Wylie 3-5-18

We got a late start this morning but finally put the boat in on Big Allison. Water temperature was around 57 on Big & Little Allison. Started out long lining on Big Allison & the perch were hitting out jigs tipped with minnows. Tried several spots with the same results. Moved around to Little Allison, but we only caught 2 crappies & more perch. Perch were mostly on the small size. After about 1, moved back around to Big Allison. Here, we started catching some good size perch but only 1 more crappie.

We ended up with 66 perch & 3 crappies. Marked a lot of bait & fish but not that many bites.

Good job! Sounds like there was a big change in perch population at Wylie today.
