But what did you catch ? Don't give me that baloney bout not biting ! CK is calling in sick so shoot the info this way !
Here I go,
Couldn’t make the Friday get together so I went to Wylie today.
Drove over the Big Allison bridge and saw the mud water heading downstream. Not surprised, plenty of regular water still around. Noticed lots of birds around Allison
My plan was find bait, find Crappie.
1. Favorite spot, Oldfish s channel = nothing at all
2. Check out Torrence = nothing
3. Check out Beaver Dam= nothing
(By the way nothing means no bait)
By now I’ve spent an hour
Time to go back to Big Allison where I saw the birds...
I got there and 2 boats were there , lots of bait BINGO.. just what I needed
Problem was , NO BITES, using minnows
Wasted another hour
Decided to try the Big Allison channel near the boat ramp
AMAZING AMOUNTS OF BAIT CRAPPIE EVERYTHING
1 problem, no bites
Mud was coming and pushing all the fish downstream ( my opinion)
Here are pics
I’ve never seen fish like this that would not bite anything
This is not mud or leaves

Their can be to much bait
Was the water muddy enough to walk On? I just havent figured out how to handle stained water and rising temps....
