One of the biggest obstacles for me too. I love fishing new waters, I especially love going to Florida in the winter. What I hate is traveling with the boat, and having to be on a strict time frame due to work restrictions (vacation time) Maybe one day, if I live long enough, I can retire and travel to the many waters I would love to explore and stay as long as I have money enough to pay my way.

I hear you tim, i dont mind the time frame, but i hate struggling through the year not taking vacation so i can justify bringing the boat for an extended vacation. Maybe i will just install downriggers and make multiple trips to tennessee for walleyes this year. I love new lakes also, it makes me more versatile. I always try two to three new lakes everytime im home.
