That is the good thing about being retired I just don't have to fish in the wind. I use wind finder and pick my days to go.
Just my luck cut wood last weekend for a upcoming bar-b-que, so planning on hitting Greenwood tomorrow and looks like the winds gonna blow just a little. Don't know what I've done but seem I can't hook the boat up that the wind don't decide to blow like a Hurricane. O'well on a positive note, I can just run to forks of river turn @ and throw out the rods want even need the trolling motor. So I guess that's a positive.

When I had a Hobie Cat the wind wouldn't blow when I could sail, now it blows when I can fish go figure
This wind stops and these crappie won't know what to do other than hit the banks. I hope.

I can relate to your feelings about the wind. I have that problem too! If it's not work, then it's the wind. If I can't go then it's nice as all get out.

I know the feeling Eddie, it's been a rough year for me so far. It started out with such promise but has been all down hill since. The tide will turn eventually!

We fought the wind today and it almost won! Got to go when you can. Right!

We'll made it through the Hurricane, had fun too. Caught fish from 3' out to 20' no real pattern just wanted something moving. Didn't limit but wasn't trying keep 8 for supper gonna put them on the Grill for my youngest likes them that way. All in all had a fair day but I still believe Greenwood is going in the wrong direction as far as Crappie fishing goes, hope things pick up over the next couple year, I use to hate that lake but have grown to love it now.... seems to be getting tougher to have a good day on it now though.
