Back on the water today to try out new trolling motor. Worked great but catching was bad except for perch & 1 flathead. Tight lined down around the mouth of Big Allison but did not get the first crappie. Finally found a large school of perch so I stopped & put 30 good size perch in the cooler. Caught most on minnows but did catch a few on a gold spoon. Also, a 15 lb flathead hit the spoon. Released him to grow a little more.

    Nice day on the water.

Nice report Charles. When do you start doing the drop shot thing for bass? I am looking forward trying some this year
