Ethanol in gas is a bad deal for the American people. Higher taxes, higher food costs, unnecessary engine and fuel system repairs. Hope the current administration sees this and makes the necessary changes to our energy policies.

CB, They have two grades, 87 & 90. The higher octane was $2.57 I think. I have not seen this station cheaper before so it was a surprise. It is between where Jeff and I live so he goes by every day. I am in Lexington Heights, just around the corner from you.

Hey Ray haven't talked to you in awhile how's it going? I notice this was in your text - 1999 Duracraft 1648 Stick Steer, 40 Yamaha, I-Pilot, HDS7.
I have a Duracraft stick steer forgot the year. That's cool. Is that yours?

Hey Matt, good to hear from you. Yep I found a used one in really good shape so I sold my Tracker. Really like the stick steer convenience, but every now and then I miss the old boat. I had put a 55 HP Yamaha on it and it would scoot.

There is ethanol free gas at one of the stations (not QT) at the Buster Boyd Bridge. It is 89 octane

thanks again for the info. i live next to st albans . blue house with shop. stop by sometime for a cold one if you see my shop lights on. i have a BX22PRo Sea Hunt/w 150 Yammy 4stroke. love the boat. have not had it but since april. sold my 19' seapro cc to a buddy. hated to let it go. it was in great shape but needed a little bigger boat for the grand daughter to walk around in. (at least that is what my son had me to believe.) ha ha ha. no regrets . this is a super boat.

Ray did you notice in your boat that the back seat is set for kids. Their's not a lot of room from the seat to the back partition, latter in the year i am planning on moving the seat forward.

Mine would not be easy to move. It is riveted to the floor. This has never been an issue as the gas tank and batteries are between the seat and transom so there is no where for anyone to sit anyway. All my passengers have sat facing forward or moved to the center seat if they needed to watch rods out the back.
