    Default Wateree 12-27-16

Hit the water again looking for stripers this morning. Marked a lot of bait out from June creek & below colonel creek but only caught 3 stripers, 2 cats & 1 large mouth. We were using shinners & bream for bait. The 3 stripers were in about 24' & down just off the bottom. The wind was blowing pretty good so we drifted most of the time. Saw some birds flying around but none hitting the water.

Next trip probally will be to murray.

Murray is the Striper Capital of the Universe!!! That's what happens when you put a strict limit on size and stock a million a year.

Derrick, since you up, where were you catching the perch? I am going Friday, putting in at Clouds Creek. My buddy did not see many in the creeks but it is not as deep as the 35 FOW I hear is the magic depth.

We fished the same areas yesterday with about the same results.
