    Default Monday on Murray

Went with friend, Harry, to see if the perch were still around Clouds Creek. First two fish at sunrise were 2 nice crappie.

Then the perch joined in and we put about 20 in the cooler.

Harry had a good size cat join the party, but we put him back to fatten up on perch. Then the bite slowed to nothing even though the screen looked like this.

We finally gave up around 11 when we could not get another bite, but it was a beautiful morning to be on the water.

Thanks for the report. Did you try to put bait into that mess on the Bottom?
    Sure looks like fish

Tried minnows, spoons, jigs, needed a perch scaled hand grenade! Lots of surface activity but I only got one hit on top water and whatever it was knocked the lure about a foot out of the water. Never felt the hook though, he was smart.
