Yes the landing will be about half way back to WM. It will takes little while to drive on to the ramp. Half will be paved and the rest dirt road down to the landing. Once you get to the landing it is new concrete, nice ramp and parking. It post some pics for you of the landing and lake when I find them. You will love the lake as it is peaceful. It is a take out point for rafter's coming down the Chattooga River.

Yep i used to cringe at dirt roads but the rock guard catches that now. It will be alittle drive but i have driven farther for a day of fishing. We will take photos, the locals are very tight lipped to the point the few locals that have caught them dont tell each other, we will see how day one goes and can always try yonah while we are there for 2 and half days of fishing,

Boy it is easy to get confused. Glad I didn't book a cabin at Tugaloo. Would have been dry docked.

Looks good, the corner looks like it will be challenging or just back down. My coworker love to fish and said there is a campground in a state park just west of westminster he goes too. He said in thefuture we can team up to fish these lakes and he will bring his class a to stay in. So no need in the future to rent cabins if he comes fishing.

This is quickly becoming my favorite lake. It has big yellow perch and huge bream. Me and the girlfriend have been taking the yaks out there the past few weeks and love it. It is very peaceful. The perch and bream have been coming from 30 to 50 feet off main lake points on both sides of the lake. Going again tomorrow, may paddle up towards the chattooga and try a couple shallower holes. If we do any good, I will take pics and post 'em. As far as walleye, I have no idea how to catch them. If I caught one, it would be purely by accident

yep it is going to be interesting, i plan on fishing the points and will also be searching for the coolest water i can find. Anything over 40 ft is probably going to require a slip bobber or vertical fishing with jigs
