Thread: Wylie night stalk report 5-21-16

Sounds like a like great time was had by all, good to hear a pretty good nice group was able to get together for a little fishing and lot of BSing.

We had a great time getting back down to Wylie and bringing back some nice fish to eat and share with friends. It was nice to meet with old friends and meet new friends. The total count for the spotrunnin boat was 25 in the livewell and plenty of perch released with no harm for others to be pestered with next tjme. Looking forward to the next trip of fishing and bull talk. I would like to say if you get a chance to fish with these fishermen and women, take it, cause it is what good times and memories are made of

Well looks like it has all been said. So I will just give ya the results. But first Thanks to all you girls and guys that come out with us. You are what makes it fun. Catching fish is just an added bonus. After a short rain delay we all headed put to the Hole !. Every boat caught fish. As said some more than others but that is fishing. I been on both sides of that situation many times. Here are the results. Not a barn burner but ....
First place big fish went to Team Dawgg. Him and Everret had a 1.14 big crappie. Second was awarded to Team OldFish. Clarence and myself weighed in a 1.10 crappie. Third was Team spotrunnin. William and Cynthia had a 1.9 fish. Fourth place was Team ScooperDude. Neil and Grady had a 1.6 lb monster for their showing. And last but not least Team downcountry . They took top spot in the biggest non-crappie slot. A 2.8 lb. catfish. He had some crappie but didnt want to show off. Congratulations to everyone. I didnt put the total 5 fish weights. Couldnt read my own writing and didnt want to get it wrong. But Thanks again to everyone and be safe out there.
Dont know what happened to the group shot ? Unlees it was glare off that bunch of big heads with no hair on em ! Sorry folks.

Glad you guys were able to get out and enjoy the comradeship and catch a few fish also. I plan on making the next one as I have never fished Wylie. Got my boat almost ready to night stalk just got to rig up a couple lights. Thanks for sharing the report and pictures

Don, We will be getting plans up for the NC/SC clash soon. We can definitely use an extra power weapon against NC. They only had two boat last time and whopped us by a couple of ounces. I think it would be great to come up here any time and fish day or night. Come on up and that invite goes for anyone that want to fish!
