Not that I am against it at all. But you might want to read this article first.

I think they are talking about the company's that clear the lots for people to have those nice clean looking yards on the lake. Part of the article reads about putting in brush as long as it is anchored down and not in anyone swimming areas boat launching areas and the intake system for water such as the nuclear plant and city of Rock Hill. Brush has been put in the Catawba river for years by fishermen and DNR. Please! Don't think I'm bashing but the park rangers have said do it but clean up behind yourself. As long as we do it with respect to the land owners and DNR and Duke Energy. We will be okay! We don't plan to drop large pine and oaks, plus we don't have a barge either like the one pictured in the paper and on the computer article.

that thing looks like the rig that acted like he wanted to hit my toon back in late summer
he was backing away from the bank as I was going in a cove. I was going slow watching
where I was going thinking he
was still going back when the 85 year old friend on the toon said sort of loud to watch
that thing coming at us I looked around just in time to throttle up and get out of his way
with that being said =there are A/Hs out there that need to be watched and some need to
be thrown off the lake. I am not pounding all construction workers and boaters on the lake
there are a lot of good people out there but "SOME" do need to be a little better people

Remus, I saw a barge 2 years ago with a huge oak tree heading across the lake and I ask to have it and the guy said it wasn't going in the lake that it was going to be cut for the lumber. Wished I could have got it in the fifty foot water off the mouth of Torrance branch. Here is the barge from the article in the Herald. If we could get this big of an operation going we'd be bad.

That thing is docked in crowders creek, I was at nivins landing one day back in the summer when they brought that thing in , they acted like they owned the lake, all in the way. Kept running out and then coming right back to the dock, took several try's for me to get to the dock to load the boat.

I know they are making money out there. I'd like to know more about where on the lake they dropped those trees in the article. That would be a heck of a good brush!
