WONDERING IF THERES A TRICK TO SETTING THEM UP
AND DO YOU HAVE TO SET IT UP EVERYTIME YOU HIT THE LAKE OR IS IT AUTOMATIC

Yes my Helix 5 does. There may be an option where you initially select the internal map or the SD card, can't remember, but once it is set for the chip card it goes to it automatically.
