    i wanna get me 6-8 of the 8 ft down rigger tiger rods for drift fishing . they are sorta pricey so i think ill check em out.

    i was looking on cabelas web site and noticed they are having a sale on uglys made just for crappie fishing. any one know why bps dont carry crappie ugly sticks? cabelas is offering them for 27.99 up to 9 ft

    go to cabelas web site and type ugly stick crappie rods in the search box. i think im gonna order 2 of the 9 footers to add to my spider rig setup. sure wish they made 12 footers.

    Those 9' uglies are Rango specials. They are good rods. Don't bother with the 7 or 8 foot ones for tightlining tho. I got a 7 footer and it turns out they just cut the end off the 9 foot blank so the sweet spot on the tip is gone.
