    Cool trip to the hill


    rode to clarks hill this morning fished till lunch caught 60 or so all together long lining had a mixed bag of crappie,white perch,bass,an bream wound up keeping 26 crappie big enough to fillet not to bad for a mid oct day best color was tenn shad.

    Good report pintail and good seeing a post from you again. I hope to get after 'em again in another week or two. With the rain coming the next 3 days and then the cooler weather the fish bite should be on fire for longlining. Congrats on your catch.

    Great catch, which creek where you in? I havent found a good long line bite yet but i have marked a ton of fish on the SC side little river.

    I'm hoping to hit the Hill one day this week and try long lining. How much rain yall get down there? Back of the creeks messy?

    We got 2.5" where I live....about 30 minutes from the upper end of CH lake.
