    Default Pontoon

How well do the pontoons handle big water or the wind and waves when they kick up? Right now I have a little 14 ft jon, so any time the wind gets going, it gets a little scary, even to the point that if it's windy, I won't take the jon out.

Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.

And we act like this Nightstalking thing is new.

For some excitment, read the next verse. A special guest arrived, they filled their coolers and had a fish fry on the beach...in the morning. My kind of people.- Bowfin

I have a 20ft. toon, and the waves don't effect it much. I've been in big water with 20-30 mph winds. The only thing with the wind is trying to keep the boat straight. Once you get with the wind direction its not that bad. I love my toon and will never fish out of any kind of boat again. I'm going to take it to the coast this fall for some big red inlet fishing !! Feel free to pm me if tou have any more ?

I have a 24 foot pontoon and it handles rough water great. I love mine. One thing that has made a lot of difference is a good bow mounted trolling motor.
I don't think I will ever own any other type of boat.

Cousin Joe has a 24ft. TOON and it's the best. Has 2 front seats and 2 back seats and of course the middle kick back seats. Just can't seem to put enough rod holders on but all in all my preference when it comes to night stalking, chasing thugs and stripers nothing beats a TOON. Just make sure you get a big enough anchor.

I have a Fisher Freedom Fish 20' Toon w/ 68 lbs Trolling motor. Has 2 front and 2 rear pull out seats. I pull trolling motor off during hot summer months for the fun & leasure boating and or for a 2 person pup tent up front for those crappie night stalks! WILL never own anything else other than a Toon!

I got a 18' xpress bass boat that I am working on for this year. If it does not cut it, there will be a pontoon in the driveway for next year. I'm sold on the benefits of a pontoon.

    Default Re Pontoon

Bought A 1991 Bass Buggy 20ft Nothing In The Way Of Furniture Except Driver Console.rebuilding It Strickly For Fishing.down On Side A 12ft Box For Rods Should Hold About 20 Rods.down The Other Side A 10ft Box For Storage Of Anchors, jackets, etc Flip Back Seat For Driver With Live Well Or Cooler Underneath.in Front Of Console A Grey Line Live Baitholder And For Seating Two Fishing Seats Up Front And The Rest Of The Seating Will Be Fold Out Padded Deck Chairs.this Is My 3rd Pontoon Boat And Loved All Of Them Except For The Floor Plan.making My Own Plan This Time And Hoping This Will Be The One.
A Pontoon Is The Best For Fishing The Only Drawback Is When The Wind Is Up Hard To Control, but Guess You Can't Have Everthing.good Luck With Your Purchase And If It Is A Pontoon Think It Will Be A Great Choice.
JERK THEM OUT BY DA ROOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
