Good catch Fluff. Thumbs UpWilliam had to go home at lunch, so I just packed it in, too. Sydney's birthday was yesterday and I new I'd have have to fix supper for everyone. By the time I got through dressing what we kept, I was glad I quit at lunch, too. How deep were your fish?

something to think about pintail, about the bite not picking up till later. i have heard from my local crappie pro that on oconee yesterday a tournament took 15 lbs with 7 fish to win. they were tightlining in 1-2 foot of water. apparently with the full moon the fish are moving to the banks at night because the water temp that shallow is in the 60's. that would explain the bight holding off until the sun pushes them out. last week southern had a tourney on the hill and the frick boys won it with 13 lbs. fishing about the same way. found a mud flat at about 5 foot of water and fished under a float 1-2 foot deep. just something to think about.
