    Default FOM Spanks Me with his replacement rod


    FOM got about a 15 t0 0 lead on me this morning on the Hill. But about the time he started trash-talking I began to catch up quick. Bad thing was, he was whooping me with the rod I bought him to replace the one I tossed overboard at Nov. fest. Despite the fact that we couldn't even see each other in my boat for the fog, we had a super morning pulling jigs in 15 to 22 FOW. They really liked fire-tiger and John Deere green. We also caught some on yellow slider with black tail. FOM caught some real CHUNKER perch on my little 3.5 foot rod right by the motor. We kept 34 to dress, tossed back several dinks. A lot of them came on double 1/16th jigs. Stump Hunter, I DID catch some on the green buckys. Got a picture of one. FOM is supposed to put some pics on. CAUSE I KNOW THIS THREAD IS USELESS WITHOUT PICHERS. :D

    Barry, sounds like you guys had a great trip on the hill today. I'm still trying to figure out who was probably the most excited about the bite as long as the two of you have been off the water.:o Gotta be careful about giving something to FOM cause he'll take advantage of it and give ya a what-fer with it too.:p I cant wait to get back on the water myself. Looking forwards to seeing the pics from today's catch.

    Great minds think alike! I just got finished posting pics in a thread of my own. Glad to say that it looks like our stories match up pretty well! :D

    But brother, you gotta be careful what you type, "FOM spanks me with rod" sounds like something you'd find on the wrong kind of website! :D

    All joking aside, we had a great day. And here's the promised pic of a Stumphunter jig at work. I told Barry I doubt he'd be compensated with a financial windfall for promoting Ronnie's jig with a fish of this size, but he's still hoping for that big payout! :D

    FOM, I am laughing so loud that my son is asking what I was laughing at. Rofl I had to tell him a rod joke Thumbs Up That comment was hilarious.

    My wife bought me that cap for my birthday. I figured I'd get some brownie points if I got pictured with it on. Of course, if William wears one it MUST mean that your catch will improve by wearing it. Just don't go to calling me a gov't. employee.

    Barry I know what you mean about the whopping the buddy i took sat when we went back to the ramp at lunch poor boy had only caught five fish out of about fifty that we caught so i told him to just take the ones we kept home with him. but i didnt rag him because i been there before one day you catch em one day you dont,glad yall had a good day on the water to.
