14' Crappie Maxx Rods

I got a gift card to Bass Pro and was thinking about getting two 14' Crappie Maxx trolling rods. Will a spinning reel fit on these rods? I read the Q&A on their website. One answer said yes and one said no, so I thought I would ask the experts :D Thanks in advance for any input.

If no replies, ask Wiskers. He already has some of these (Origanally called Wally Marshal tightline specials). He uses baitcasting reels on his but he can tell you if spinning reels would work. He's active on the boards so send him a PM or ask on this post.

If they are the same as the WM tightline specials yes you can use a spinning reel.

thats the same rods I use and yes u can put a spinning reel if u like.

Those rods are the same as the tight line specials, and yes you can use any type reel you would like. The rod holders you use will determine the type reel that would best be suited to the rods.
