    Man did I mess up sunday.. Got a call around three thirty Sundat afternoon from my boss. Plant went down (compressor) need you to come to work. Got up at 5 am sunday morning didnt get to sleep until 10:30 monday. Im getting to old for this... Looks like will be on nights until we get back together.. Just a whine or two. Sorry you had read

    That is a long night. I worked many 2nd and 3th shifts back to back. After so many hours your body goes into overdrive! Take care.

    Alot of us has had to pull hours like you just did but that doesnt make 'em a bit easier. It gets hard on the body when you upset the norm. Hopefully that night shift wont last very long and you'll get back to 'normal' soon.:o

    Yes its 12:38 and im wide awake didnt lay down till 9:30. Its been 10 or 11 yrs since I worked nights. Its going to be another long night.. Got to work 7 to 7 so hope ill get at least one more hour

    I used too have to fill in for the third shift guy every now and then. I learned to wear foam ear plugs when I went to sleep so the kids or dogs would not wake me up. Summer was the worst because the kids were home all day from school. But we all are still alive

    Boatman, I do know where you are coming from. Worked many a power house getting ready for the blowdown to start. Kinda thankful those days are behind me. Would not mind getting that money again though.
