Lancaster Reservoir 7/10
I went on a suicide run (2 hr session) to Lancaster reservoir on a mission to catch my rod breaker from last week. Using a heavier rod (Wally Marshall 4'6 deluxe from BPS) 10lb braid, plus the same bait (Gulp Minners), I went to his lair to drag him out. Instead of the state record slab i was dreaming about, that joker was a 7-10lb channel cat with my old jig head stuck in corner of his mouthHe tried to wrap me up around girders, etc but with 10lb braid and tight drag i winched him in. Caught him and half dozen of his siblings from his neighborhood (water intake tower). No crappie.
Oh I could wrestle a monster fish

Nice! That's a good size channel cat. I usually catch them by the gates, but they're much smaller than that.
