    Default Fishing Creek Reservoir

I was planning on catfishing at Cedar Creek Friday but my buddy had to cancel so I decided to go crappie fishing at Fishing Creek Reservour instead. Poor choose for me. I only caught 1 crappie and 1 small bass I fished from daylight to about lunch time. Started out fishing docks and then tight lined jigs and minnows. I talked to a few trollers and no one I spoke to had over a dozen. Water was 72 deg and moderately stained. Beautiful weather was nice.

Those have to be some hog blues. All I ever caught were some nice sized channels, but they were to smelly to eat after cleaning.

There's a pretty good shad population in FC, so that seems possible.
    John 21:3
Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.

And we act like this Nightstalking thing is new.

For some excitment, read the next verse. A special guest arrived, they filled their coolers and had a fish fry on the beach...in the morning. My kind of people.- Bowfin

your right Racoon, it's beautiful from the middle but get close to the bank and every cut has at least 20 feet of floating bottles, basket balls, tires, and a host of other garbage. Most of that crap comes out of Sugar Creek from Charlotte. I kayak Catawba and from north of Sugar Creek to south of it is night and day difference.
