    Default Wylie 1-6

first crappie of 2010. well had to cut it short, cause it was just too dang cold! had to cut holes in the ice to fish for, and pull crappie out :D fished hard and ended with enough crappie for dinner 2nite. got 7 all slabs between 1 - 1 1/2 lbs. went 7 for 7...surprisingly they were all solid hits.

that little bit of wind made it brutal out there.

photobucket is down, but once its up, ill post pics with todays date so brett can deliver my prize for the first crappie catch pics posted of 2010. Brett im expecting to see a brand new truck and boat combo loaded with fishin gear on my driveway tomorrow morning :D :p

Nice looking date stamp!! Thanks for braving the weather and showing us what a crappie looks like! I bet it didn't take much ice to keep your beer cold today.

Nice pete you da man. I will be out next week. I am going to hit dem crappie hard this year. With your slip float do you double jig or single jig? Also this time of year it is small bait?

single hook......also one thing that ive noticed on wylie is that the bigger the crappie minnow the better this time of year.
