    Thumbs up Rocky River report 10/22


    Well, haven't had time to post lately but did manage to sneak a vacation day in yesterday......numbers weren't great but size made up for it. Ended up w/ 17 fish, most were over a pound with the two biggest fish around 1-3/4lb....caught 'em all about 12-14' deep in the river channel near channel ledge & brush. They seemed to like small jigs tipped w/ minnows and yellow/green seem to be the hot color. Hope everyone is doing well & hate that I can't make it to the fest this time....later, Burdawg

    Good to hear from you I was wondering if you were getting any fishing time.. With the size you pulled in, 17 crappie will feel up a cooler quick.

    Good hearing from ya Burdawg. I thought you'd fell off the edge of the world or something. Sounds like you got onto some slab crappie. I'd take those 17 vrs. a limit of smaller ones anyday. Congrats.
