55lb thrust 12v model with pedal. Does not have the autopilot or ipilot.

I have a 55# thrust Riptide manualy operated model. I have a quick disconnect plate mounted on my deck for total removal
of the motor with the exception of the plate of coarse. Would this motor attach to that mounting plate?

I have a motor just like this and it is attached to a quick release plate mount. Mine has a place to put a lock to keep it from being removed prematurely.
Should work. Good price.
Would be interested as a back up, but just bought one like it.
