Check out amped outdoors lithium. 20 to 30 amp hours will be plenty.
Has anyone tried to make the Popular combination of the Garmin Echomap 93,and the Panoptix Livescope portable? I'm trying to figure out two things. First: Which battery will give me around 8 to 10 hours of run time. My plan will be to search the new lake with side view using the 93, then use the Livescope once i find that honey hole. Second: Do I need two batteries, (Panoptix, Livescope) or can I get by with just one? Any suggestions on brand? My first Thread after joining. Thanks in advance.

How to build a mobile Panoptix LIVESCOPE system using a Magnet Mount! - YouTube
I’m running a 50AH deep cycle trolling motor battery to power 93sv, livescope and starter for my 9.9. It works for me!

I built one similar to the one in the apache case (3400) using 2 Dewalt 20v 6 ah tool batteries (cause I had them and Garmin Tech says ok to run both)

Thanks for the response. If nothing else I have gained the knowledge that all batteries are not created equal. Amps, deep cycle, regular automotive. A new vocabulary. I as well have a 9.9 Yamaha that I just bought but its a manual start. So how many Amps is a regular deep cycle battery. Something that heavy will defeat the purpose of making this set up portable? Thanks again.
Ladybird, nice job but my main concern for a container that big is the receiving unit to overheat. I feel if it can't get air it could be a fire hazard. Your thought and experience on that?. Thank you.
First there is a link in my post, I am not real good at this stuff some guys have some good ideas in there. Second I drilled multiple holes at spots between the bracing to allow air flow, no padding inside other than rubber washers under black box, also made sure holes in bottom in event of rain.
