Thread: HDS7 Gen 2 transducer setting

On my previous boat I had the transducer that provided 2D and DI. I added the side scan transducer and ran DI and SI on it and 2D on the original transducer.
I changed boats and now am only using the original transducer. I tried to run DI today and it didn't work. The HDS transducer is set at Generic 85/200. What should it be set at to recognize the transducer and run 2D and DI? It's the standard transducer that comes with the HDS7, Gen 2 which provide both views.
I remember that I had to change it when I added the SI transducer but don't remember the original setting.

Thanks. I'm thinking the 83/200 is 2D and the 455/800 provided the DI view but this stuff gets confusing.
