    Default Helix 5 DI Setup

Anyone care to share their settings with me? I'm lost to what all this means. I've searched YouTube some but can't find specifically what I'm looking for. 98% of the time will be used vertical jigging 12-25 ft deep in 12-30 fow. I've had the unit for a year as basically a depth reader not being able to adjust my settings to understand anything else. Transducer is mounted to trolling motor and I've included some pics of the screens I'm having trouble with. Thanks

Restore Defaults 1st to get the unit back to factory settings (this will also reset your Manual Lower Range setting that is showing on your DI image - and most likely keeping the bottom from showing on the display) ...

    *Beam Frequency = set to 455kHz/200kHz ...
*Imaging frequency = 455kHz for more coverage ...800kHz for more detail ..
    *Surface Clutter = 4-5 ...
*Switchfire = Clear (only affects 2d image) ...
*Noise Filter = Off (higher "if" there is interference on the display) ...
*Max Depth = set to 10ft deeper than the deepest water in your lake ...
*Chart Speed = match boat speed for DI / max to 10 for 2d ...
*DI Enhance Sensitivity = adjust to brighten/darken the DI image ...
*DI Enhance Sharpness = Off ...
*DI Enhance Contrast = 10 (higher if specifically looking for fish) ...
*User Mode = Advanced (to show all available menus) ...
*Demonstration = Hidden (you'll never need it) ...
*Clear Current track (under Nav tab) at least once per day ...

would the settings be different for a helix 9? i'm pretty good at setting things on humminbirds, but my di just isn't good at all.

Restore Defaults is always a good place to start ... then ...

Use the same settings I listed in post #2 ...
