Size: 76.8 KBsi. Depth is not right on DI with slanted ducer. On some of these pic DI will show fish much better than si when not in water column also if fish are near top in deep water they will show up on DI and not on si at times,

Here,s a tip if you have docks on your lake,if you will raise the right side of your ducer just a little ,you can see better under docks on your si and still will not hurt pic of bottom ,also if you notice most of the time when searching with si you are usually closer to right shore which is coming up anyway which will actually give you a better bottom pic of both sides of boat when going along near shoreline,I have been helping some here who also want to see under docks better and still be able to use it like they got it for,try it and if you do not like it ,it is easy to put back as was

I move DI slanted ducer a little farther back after these pic to get out of much of the interference with si ducer, also when I took these pics there was much alogue in the water, have not been back for awhile ,motor has been broke, now water rose almost 10 feet in less than 2 weeks so with so much trash not sure when I may get to go again and take more pic, sure love testing new ideas

I'll have to get some pics of my 598 with split screen showing one side SI and DI. It does the same thing. I found it on accident scanning dock for shooting.

Can you run the SI on 800 and the DI on 455? Is that second pic a stake bed or a bunch of narrow spaced pilings?

    Very cool idea.

Gotcha, I am new to SI and it is taking me a little while to figure out what I am looking at. I am supposed to get a HDSI ducer in the mail tomorrow to replace the compact that came with my unit, hoping it goes from wow to WOW!
