missing contour lines
1198 a nd 899 neither show any contourr lines ,they show the lake out line even shows roads onshore but no contour. it will not switch off of auto chart is there another selection

The 1198 and 899 come with built-in Contour XD mapping ...which is only 3000 lakes nation wide ...
All other lakes are merely a blank background with lake outlines ...
As Bob mentions ...you will need a map card if your lakes are not included in the Contour XD ...
