Wonder why? What do you use? I have heard that Wave Away is an excellent product.

Ron, I just did a little research:

I called HB and told them that my 998 HD had a very dull screen and that I would like to send it back and get the screen replaced for HB's flat repair fee of $235.65. The rep said "that's not going to happen". Screen replacement is not covered by the flat rate fee and the cost to replace would be $347.50..

I then called Billbob since he has just had a Lowrance replaced. He had an HDS 10 Gen 1 that had a problem. He called in to get it repaired. They said they wouldn't repair it, but he could upgrade to an HDS 12 Gen 2 Touch for $500.00. That is going up 2 notches in my book.

I know which deal I would take.
