    S.A.C.A. will have a crappie tournament on Jan. 16th 6:30am until 3pm. We weigh-in at shoals creek ramp. If you plan on fishing let me know. I will be at the ramp at about 5:45 to get entry. Good luck to everyone

    Entry is $35.00 per boat. You can fish 1 tournament with us without being a member. Rules are posted on our web site at SHOALS AREA CRAPPIE ASSOCIATION.
    I will be at shoals creek boat ramp about 5:45am.

    Default Shoal Creek Ice Cover

    The back end of Shoal creek is iced over in the Happy Hollow area, don know how far up. Buddy lives about half mile up creek fro HH ramp Still covered yesterday. I havent been over there yet. Should be thin by saturday though

    I seriously doubt we will have to worry about the ice situation with the forcast the way it look. I will barely reach freezing temps for lows in the next couple of days with highs reaching 50 and higher. There will be no problem at all I would think. I am more worried about pulling that heavy boat out of the steep boat ramp.

    I also feel the ice will be gone David don't worry about pulling that boat out we should have enough chevy's around to pull her out. Ha Ha just kidding good luck to everyone saturday and be careful maybe the rain forecast will wait until we get off the water.
