Got lucky. Last Friday rain front coming in. Caught these fish just off the creek channel about 6 feet deep in 12 to 15 fow. Shad where popping everywhere. Crappie were full of shad when i cleaned...

I had trouble finding structure in the main lake. In the river channel found a lot of bait fish and caught several crappie in the brush. All of them were dinks. I know AGFC put out pvc fish...

39 crappie sounds great to me Basscat1. Only thing I hate about fishing a "new to me" lake, is learning the lake it's self.
