    Default Steinhachee 2010

We went to Steinhachee over spring break and fished for 2 days and caught 303 lbs the first day, with over 100 lbs of that in amber-jack and 204 the second for a total of 507 lbs here's a few pics, we were catching the amber-jack on a top water chugger man that was a hoot, I hung one that literaly tore the trebble hooks out of the chugger on the fourth run it made, those things run like a freight train

Mike - You might have spoiled them kids. I don't know if they will get to excited over a 1.5 crappie now. Looks like you had a great time. Glad you did.

    Default Nice Job

Good hearing from Mike, glad you and the family had a great time.

The Allatoona crew needs to get together and see what we are going to do about a get together on Allatoona. I’ll try to get something started and let everyone know. May be a little while but be looking for something from me. IF anyone has any ideas or suggestions you know how to get in touch with me.

Maybe we can get a couple of us and fish one night.

How did you like your stay at the Sea Hag Marina. Been checking out thier web site and looks to be a nice place. Thinking of going over there sometime the end of May for a week. What do they charge for boat dockage.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there, we went out with Captn. Steve Hart of Legal Limits Charters, this was the second time we've been out with him and I will use every time I go out down there, he's an awesome Captn. and really knows the fishing grounds well in the 2 days we never fished the same spot twice and if we didn't catch the quality fish he thought we should within 5-10 minutes he'd say we catch nothing in whole lot of places lets move.
Bottom line is I'd recommend him to anyone especially if you have kids he'll take care of them as far as baiting hooks taking off fish and keep them catching fish all day and the Florida snapper/grunts are as good eating as any crappie not mention the kids love catching em.
