Easy to do . My biggest problem was moisture to begin with . After I stopped trying to water them it was easy . They live in what they eat and change boxes every 3 months or so and put in new food . When you get 50 bugs put them in a new box and start another .

Can you elaborate,I give mine a light misting of water every couple days, and they love it.They will climb the walls to get the water droplets, even though they always have a fresh supply of baby carrots.

I was told to wet a paper towel , wring out as much as possible and spread across the top .By the time I realized there was mold in my trays the worms were dead . If using wheat bran for bedding they eat it . I have been told they will eat their own for moisture not sure . (Have found no partial worms ) I add a tray of 50 any time I need more . There are times I have thousands of bugs .

I keep everything in the same uncovered container.I add, two small folded in half hand towels. These hand towels seem to only attract the largest mealworms inside them.I would probably get mold too from the water mistings I give them, if it wasn't for fact that their bin is right next to the central a/c intake vent which is constantly pulling in air .
