    On a side note,

    crawlers can be kept in ice water in the fridge overnight without killing them. It’s a quick way to force feed them moisture to plump them up in a hurry!

    They get much bigger, try it sometime!

    Interesting!! We put crawlers in a bag of water for fishing crawler harnesses for walleye in the summer. They will stretch out and go limp so they do not bend and spin in the water. Never tried ice water.
