Thread: Gold powder paint

Anyone know how to get a smooth finish on the disco gold powder paint? It always has rough finish along with the disco silver.

for gold I use jacquards pearlEx mica powder mixed with clear. It comes in the system 1 pack

Floyd, I have all the Disco color's from TJ's and every one cures out rough! Unavoidable! I use CSI's UV Blast Clear Vinyl as a top coat on most of my jigs that aren't already "Florescent". They come out much smoother plus they light up under UV light.

Pepop I have done the top coat also but it's not really to my liking. I think the Roseys brass transparent is my ticket until something comes up on the market.
