Day in day out best prices for molds.Do-It Molds : Jig, sinker & lure molds for pouring your own lead fishing tackle

    Same here for hooks. https://www.captainhookswarehouse.com

You kind of have to shop around for best price on a melting pot.

X2 on Zeiners but also check Barlows - I always look around on the web. If you buy direct from Do-It you'll pay more.

X2 on Capt Hooks get a lot of hooks through them.

Melting pot definately shop around. Make sure to check some re-loading places when looking for a melting pot if someone's having a good sale you can get them cheaper.

X10 on Captain Hooks and Zeiner's

I buy 90% of my hooks for my business from Captain hooks. Zeiner's sells me almost all of my molds. I buy a ton of supplies from Jann's Netcraft. Sometimes they are more pricy but they are located close to me and I can usually get stuff shipped within a couple of days.

For powder painting, I purchase all of my fluid bed stuff (and a bunch of paint) from TJ's Tackle

Always look for cast iron stuff (muffin pans, old skillets, etc...) they work great for melting big chunks of lead and also casting ingots.

Amazon.com : Lee Precision Production Pot IV (Grey) : Gunsmithing Tools And Accessories : Sports & Outdoors
Lee Precision Production Pot IV - Walmart.com

It took me a couple of years to find items at carports sale, but mine is set up the way I want for less than $30. Haven't seen a production pot at a carport sale. You'll find fryer bases, cast iron dutch ovens and pots, large serving spoons, ladles, something for ingots if you look and wait.

Wheel weights cast pretty good jigs. Some tire stores sell them for about $50 for a 5 gallon bucket, about 100 lbs. May find pure lead at scrapyards for about the same price. Try not to buy at over $1 per lb. Keep the heat about 650 to 700 degrees, zinc melts above 800.

Cast a few heads without hooks to get the mold up to temp or set it on a burner of some type.
The scrap from the wheel weights can be sold to a scrapyard for about 0.10 per lb. I fill large tin cans and add them to a truck load of scrap.
