Default What do you store powder paint in

Just received some powder paint from Rosie's. Kinda suprised that it came in plastic bags though, but I guess that make sense for shipping. My question is what do you store it in? My thought was pint jars for unmixed and 1/2 pint for mixed. But concret and glass don't go together if you know what I mean. Just looking for other ideas. Thanks.

I got some plastic bottles/ storage containers from one of the craft stores. They sell them each and in a plastic box with like 12 per if I remember right. They offer several different sizes. Also check your local drug store for urine sample bottles, they are a little tougher.

Plastic bottles. I buy mine from a supplier that ships in plastic. I store my paint in those or... in my fluid bed cups. I've seen where guys will store their fluid bed cups in paper bags (recommended by one supplier) but I have never done this.

Old baby food jars work pretty well if you have them.

I bought some wide mouth clear plastic 32oz jars from Hobby Lobby to put my Rosey's pounds in and I found these at a local Medicine Shop Pharmacy. They're specimen jars! just $.25 each. Perfect for mixing colors & dipping jigs.

Thanks guys. Never thought of specimen jars. I ended up filling up pint mason jars and putting the rest in the specimen jars cut with clear gloss. Any that I had left, I mixed some colors. Stored the mason jars in the closet, hopefully they will stay fresh.

Make sure to check them, and keep them shook up. You don't want any moisture in those glass jars.

Bought a couple sleeves (20/sleeve) of specimen containers on ebay for $16 shipped. Local pharmacies and med supply stores didn't even have them so this was the cheapest that I've found. They work great!
