    Default Raystown Lake crappie

Got a friend in Tyrone that asked about crappie fishing when I come there to visit. Anyone fish for crappie on Raystown lake? I'm from the Nashville TN area and am bringing my boat.

    Thanks for any help

What about Glendale lake at Prince Gallitzen state park? Any opinions on that since its also close to Tyrone?
Ive been there a few times just looking it over, and it appears to be very nice.
A little far for me to make a day trip from Driftwood however, and there wasent much by way of lodging
other than camping in the park.

That would work, just need a few tips and areas on the lake(s) to start out at. Would like to troll crank baits or long line jigs. My friend trolls for strpe at Raystown so he is familiar with trolling

Any of the back waters around the Aitch boat launch, Brumbaughs area in this back water. Go out to main lake make a right heading upstream, away from the dam. Around mile marker 18 on the right heading upstream look for brush in the water near shore!!

Thanks for that information Zinger, and since Chaunc liked it also, it sounds even better.
