Are things getting any better up there? Has the water quality improved? Anyone catching much? Was hoping to get up and try it this coming week with the cool down!!

I fished Pymy's Jamestown area for crappies yesterday and did pretty good. Didn't get many over 11" but took home 24 eaters. Water looked pretty good too. I heard they were catching eyes by trolling leadcore with flicker shads in 18ft.

Is this rain going to be enough to improve things at the boat launches?!?!

I wouldn't bet money on it. Jamestown is always the better when the lake is down.

Took a ride around the north end of the lake this morning. Water is down a good 2+ feet. Only saw 2 boats out at the north end.

Was in the Jamestown area Monday and although it took a lot of searching, I was able to put 20 good size crappies in the live well. Caught quite a few throwbacks too. Got them all on plastics.
