Well was at the lake all week. I caught lots of fish, but most were small. Just could not get on big fish. Had a great time none the less. I caught all on jigs. Maybe this weekend some slabs will bite.

Don, you've got to give Pymatuning a try. Those are some big slabs biting up there. Forgot to ask if you had a smaller hp motor.

Yes Ken, have my regular, and a 9.9 mounted on back. Shoot me a pm on a good location to start, never fished the lake, except from shore, a long time ago. Thanks. I thought there was going to be a fish together on sat, and was disappointed not to see anyone. maybe later this month or something. stay in touch.

Don we were there but didn't see others. I've never seen so many boats there, couldn't find anyone. Also checked the picnic pavilion after but no one there. We'll have to get another scheduled.

Give the linesville stump area a try or Mannings launch area on the east side. Actually, anywhere on the lake is good right now. Just get out there.

Same thing for us at Shenango on Friday as far as smaller sized fish, but we did manage to ice 18 for a good fish fry. Re-discovery of Pymie will have to go on the agenda.

I said to heck with those crappies on monday. Took my fly rod and went gillin. Tied on a granpabob's black ant, tipped with a nibble, and had a blast. They're not bedding yet so i had to pluck them from a lot of diffrent spots. No problem tho. Think i kept 20. All males over 7 1/2" to 9". Went back today and got 18 more. Gonna fry some up for Pattie and her co-workers on friday. Here's monday's catch.

Add these from mosquito lake last weekend and we've got a fishfry goin on.
