    Now that its getting cold out all of us crazy ice guys cant seem to wait!! Darn i wish it would get really cold fast!!!!!!!! Have you got your gear all ready??? Ive had both my sheds out and up in my basement working on them wife thinks im insane!!!! Batteries all charged upon the vex and the Bird.Line all changed on all my rods and tip-ups.Just ordered my new xmas present A StrikeMaster ice suit. Im going crazy just thinking about going!!!!! How about everyone else.
    Mike and Bob got to have a couple group outings on hard water this year!!!!!!!!

    Just came in from the shed getting my sleds together. Gotta be ready when first ice hits. Bob and I have ice fishing visits coming up. Next weekend at Cabela's in Hamburg PA. The weekend after that we'll be at the ice fishng show at the convention center in Syracuse NY. So I'm hoping by the time we have an open weekend, the weekend before Christmas, we'll be on the ice!

    Hmmmmmmmmm............ i still haven't put my boat away yet. I'm going out in the morning and tuesday and then i'll put it away. Have to break that new 1197CSI in. It's huge. Transferred all my waypoints into it from my 987 too. Got a lot of new ice gear but i'm not bringing it out til after i put the boat away.
    Know anybody that wants to buy that shappell i had up at PI ?

    Put the boat away tuesday and pulled the shanty out for it's inspection. Looked fine and the poles slid pretty smooth. May put a little wax on them and the sled bottom before the week's out. Changing line and charging batteries today. Put my boat away just in time. Here's what it looks like this morning here.

    Mike, what do you think of the Jason Mitchell meat sticks with the diffrent colored tips? I'd like to get one for those Presque Isle gills and crappies.

    I should be getting my strikemaster suit in a week or so.This cold weather is a real bonus maybe we get out early this year!!!!!!!.Ken i hear good things about those meat sticks!!! Im as ready as ive ever been to go.this is killing me!!!!!!Looks like me working career will be done 1st week of january. Taking a severannce package then obama bucks for a while then pension in a year or so. I plan to fish alotmore now and go on the good days rather than just when im off work!!! keep me posted on ice up there chaunc!
