Beats a skunk any day
Got a chance to fish the town pond today for about an hour and a half .
Fished one of my Rosewood 5’ UL rods paired with a Daiwa Revros LT 1000s and 2# P-Line .
Hooked something while fishing a float n jig that was on for a good while , pulled drag a few times , then just came unhooked . Figured it was one of those green fish .
Had fun while it was hooked up .
Then I switched over to a drop shot rig using a 1/80 jighead with a black cricket Bobby Garland Itty Bitty Swim’R over a 1/16 weight .
Hooked two good UL LM’s that put a nice bend in the little Rosewood rod . It’s closer to an XUL than an UL .
Weather was cool , upper forties , overcast with a good breeze blowing from the NW .
Beats watching TV .

I’m liking the Daiwa Revros LT in the shallow spool model .
Very smooth reel for the money .
Wish they offered the new blue Legalis LT in a shallow spool .
