Don't overlook the line up of Ultralights from B n' M. Great rods, decent pricing. Grizzly Jig Company offers a good lineup.

The Leland trout rod that is now sold by BnM is a great rod. Don't have the BnM version but have 2 of the older style. One of my favorites for sure.

I'm going to be giving away 3 of the Trout Slayer Rods on my youtube channel this spring.

Some clarification needed here.
Leland sells their current Trout Slayer rod for $49.95, it's labeled TSS rod for short. This is the rod Alphahawk reviewed in his video:

I bought one based on Alphahawk's excellent video review and plan on testing it out soon (thank you Randy!).
BnM currently sells a similiar rod (Leland's TCB) but it's $20 more, but I'm not sure what the differences are:
Leland's TCB (Trout, Crappie, Bluegill) Rod - B'n'M Pole Company
I called Leland last week and they have no plans to change or discontinue their TSS rod. They plan on selling and supporting these rods for a long time.

Okuma celilo for sure! I have 3 of them for casting stuff like spinners and crank baits. Nice light tip with plenty of backbone....especially when the occasional large mouth decides he wants to be dinner!

Same here. For the first time I bought a backup TSS just to make sure I have one. This season it will be getting a workout with small plugs and spoons on some streams to see what JDM type rod I want next to take on that role. The TSS is a great rod for the money and I’m sure the BnM will be as well.

Just recieved my Finwick Eagle Medium Lite moderate fast action really like it will try it out soon. 7’ seems perfect
Second on the Microlites. The 7' L casts very nicely. The Celilo UL is also good, but as a UL, it doesn't handle heavier lures as well. Given the prices, you probably can't go wrong with either or both.
