    Default Unusal day @ LP 05 25 19

Water is still on the rise - dropping the water temp. Got out with friends Tu and Danny. Ran into a bass that tried to eat a 10" RE - managed to free the Bass - RE didn't make it. Mostly lifters today with a few nice ones... Got a baby turtle - now my other turtle has company.

I have the Bass/Gill thing happen at least once or twice a year. I believe the struggle of the Panfish when hooked and fighting to avoid landing really gets the Bass stirred up and they attack. Sorta like the sharks and barracuda will do in the salty waters, they sense the fighting fish and CHOMP!

I’m guessing that Tu in the pic, his smile says it all. A good trip. I had some bass trying to eat my crappie several times, and they weren’t small. Some very nice fish, thanks for taking us along.

    Thnx guys
e1 - nights were getting down to low 50s and upper 40s - days were in the 70s. Going to warm up this week. Hoping they stop pumping water in soon - almost full pool. Keeps driving the water temp down. Have an algae problem also - keeps the lake lice down.
