Once again, fish that make me jealous. The fishing in Tn was very good, better than here in a lot of ways. Even there was pale in comparison to those you show from your neighborhood. Keep it up Sonny, we love seeing them.
With the lake filling back up and all the new flooded brush those crappie are very happy and I bet there are going to be some giants caught out of Perris soon, gills already seem to be reaping the benefits. Maybe get a 3lb. gill in the future. You are catching some really big fish now.

thnx for the comments guys
tc - just a lot of birds, lol
Troy it's a combination of the birds (fertilizer), bug hatches, baitfish, warm water all year. There is a fish limit of 25 - think it has paid off. The lake level remained pretty stable for the last 3 years, allowing a lot of successful spawns. I think our CNBG is no longer a pure strain, I think some have some Red Ear genes.....
You wouldn't recognize it now Jim. Areas you fished are ~25' underwater. The east end is like a brand new lake - will be a few years to figure it out. Haven't fished the dam yet. Our weather has gone crazy - seems like we get wind all the time. At least 2 or 3 days a week.....
are whale sighting trips available there is my question ?

Good one!
